When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?

The driest and most popular months are January to early March and June to October. You can climb all year, but April, May and November bring more rain on the lower slopes.

How many days do I need to climb Kilimanjaro?

Most climbs take 6 to 8 days. Longer routes such as the 8-day Lemosho give your body more time to adjust to altitude and have higher summit success.

Do I need climbing experience?

No technical experience is needed — Kilimanjaro is a trek, not a technical climb. Good walking fitness and a steady pace matter more than mountaineering skills.

When is the best time for a Tanzania safari?

June to October is dry season, when animals gather around water and are easy to spot. January to February is calving season in the southern Serengeti.
